For a one-unit property in most areas in the U.S., the 2023 maximum conforming loan limit is $726,200. The maximum limit for high-cost areas is $1,089,300

The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) on Dec. 1 announced increased loan limits for 2023 to keep pace with home price inflation. With these higher limits, borrowers have access to a wider range of homes using affordable FHA financing.
